Lake Image to Launch New Integrity Inspection Solutions at Label Expo and Graph Expo

Press release from the issuing company

(Henrietta, NY) Lake Image Systems, a leading provider of document integrity and production reporting solutions, will introduce their new web and mail piece integrity solutions at Label Expo and Graph Expo. At Label Expo (booth # 6435), September 11 - 14 in Chicago, Lake Image will introduce the latest IntegraScan platform. IntegraScan inspects the entire width of web printed labels, tickets, and cards to ensure the data quality of all pieces. IntegraScan utilizes a high-resolution camera to verify proper placement, legibility and accuracy of human readable characters, bar codes and sequential numbering. "By identifying missing, duplicate and illegible pieces, our customers ensure quality, reduce re-work and eliminate the manual labor associated with inspection and reconciliation processes," stated Pat Hoskins, VP-Sales and Marketing at Lake Image Systems. According to Pat Hoskins, "Our solution introductions at Graph Expo are focused on adding intelligence to legacy inserters, stitching and booklet making equipment. We are replacing traditional methods for document matching & collation control with new technologies that verify and prove document & collation integrity without the need for obtrusive OMR and bar codes on pieces. The intelligence provided by our IntegraVision platform integrates on almost all legacy inserters, stitchers and booklet makers, lengthening product life-cycles for existing plant equipment and providing intelligence and integrity reporting equal or superior to that of new mail processing equipment." Lake Image Systems will be exhibiting in booth #3278 at Graph Expo, October 15 - 18 in Chicago. Lake Image Systems is a global provider of camera and scanner based verification solutions for the printing, mailing, labeling & and packaging markets.
