IKON Selected by Consorta to Provide Document Management Solutions

MALVERN, Pa.--Aug. 15, 2006-- IKON Office Solutions, the world's largest independent channel for document management systems and services, today announced a three-year agreement with Consorta, Inc., a leading healthcare resource management and group purchasing organization, to provide document management solutions and services to its more than 3,500 care sites. Under the terms of the agreement, Consorta participants now have access to greater savings on IKON document management solutions and services, including IKON's best-in-class portfolio of color and black-and-white copiers, printers and multifunction systems, on-site managed services, document strategy assessments, legal document services, and digital imaging and conversion services. In addition, Consorta participants gain service support through IKON's team of over 6,000 locally based service technicians. "Our members have eagerly awaited this agreement with IKON. IKON brings a great document production management solution," said Lori Leible, Consorta's Manager of Capital Equipment. "Teaming with a proven leader will bring a high level of efficiency to document production in member organizations." With this new relationship, Consorta participants can tap IKON's team of professional services analysts to assess their document workflow and provide a blueprint for improving efficiency and managing costs. In addition, participants can leverage IKON's on-site managed services, where IKON professionals manage document processes, copy centers and mailrooms on-site at a participant's location. Legal document services and digital imaging and conversion services are also included in the agreement.
