CRW Graphics Uses Xerox iGen3 Digital Press to Grow Color Business, Develop More Effective Communication Campaigns

Press release from the issuing company

PENNSAUKEN, N.J. & ROCHESTER, N.Y.--July 6, 2006-- CRW Graphics, one of the largest commercial printers in the Delaware Valley, has installed a Xerox Corporation iGen3 110 Digital Production Press to expand its digital color printing business and meet growing customer demand for personalized, short-run, full-color digital printing. "The iGen3 press will become the centerpiece of our digital business and a key differentiator to increase revenue," said Harriet Weiss, CEO, CRW Graphics. "It will allow us to substantially increase our digital printing volume over the next year, develop more effective communication campaigns for our customers, and increase their return on investment." CRW Graphics has offered digital printing for more than four years, and according to Weiss, it is one of the fastest growing and most profitable business segments for the company. Weiss said the 110-page-per-minute Xerox iGen3 digital press allows the company to provide a wider range of one-to-one marketing campaigns and print-on-demand applications for its customers - such as direct mail, postcards and newsletters - with quicker turnaround times. CRW Graphics produces jobs for businesses including retail, educational, advertising, manufacturing and healthcare segments. The company offered a seminar last month to educate customers on digital and variable information printing. To help with the seminar, CRW Graphics used an open house binder and personalized the Prepress for Digital Print book, both among the 40 tools, programs and services in Xerox's ProfitAccelerator(TM) Digital Business Resources portfolio. After much research, CRW Graphics chose the Xerox iGen3 110 for its industry-leading technology, superior speed, print quality and larger paper size. The company is one of only two print companies in the Delaware Valley that can print digitally on paper up to 14.33" x 22.5". The iGen3 press with a Creo Spire color server, coupled with CRW Graphics' own Web-to-print capabilities, will allow the company to better serve its customers from job creation and ordering to fulfillment and delivery.
