Fusion Print Production Manager Released

Press release from the issuing company

May 25, 2006. Portland, OR -- Fusion Systems International, a leading independent developer of prepress RIPs and workflow solutions for Mac OS X, Linux, and Windows, announced today immediate availability of their latest product, Print Production Manager, a Web-browser-based production management tool for prepress. Print Production Manager is ideal for busy shops that need the ability to quickly determine the status of their production environment with respect to job submission, queueing, and completion to any number of output formats, monochrome or color proofers, film, or final plate imagers. The new Print Production Manager provides an elegant means for controlling and monitoring production processes such as preflight, imposition, trapping, color management, file rasterization or conversion, and output to proofing, film or plate separations. The easy-to-use Web-browser-based GUI allows for monitoring production processes to keep work moving on time to completion. Highly cost effective and easy to integrate into existing workflows, it covers three critical elements of job process control: queue management, job control, and real-time status and information reporting. In addition, Print Production Manager provides ROAM capabilities at separate LAN-client workstations. This extended feature allows up to five production operators to simultaneously preview raster (ripped) data to ensure quality control prior to releasing a job for final output. For more information on Print Production Manager, including specifications, see the product sheet on the Products page of Fusion's Website at www.FusionSystems.com.
