Suppliers including Kodak & MAN Roland Sponsor Scholarships to NAPL and PIA/GATF Management & Leadership Institute

PARAMUS, N.J., MAY 2, 2006 – As part of their ongoing commitment to furthering management and leadership development in the graphic communications industry, a number of major industry suppliers are offering scholarships to the 2006 NAPL and PIA/GATF Management & Leadership Institute (MLI), slated for June 19-23, 2006, in suburban Milwaukee, Wis. Adobe, Heidelberg, and Kodak are each offering one full scholarship to qualified candidates for the course of their choice; MAN Roland is sponsoring two full scholarships, one to the General Management: Strategies for Managing the Printing Enterprise overview course for new and emerging managers, and a second to the recipient’s course of choice. “These scholarships are a reflection of the commitment each of these leading companies have made to promote management and leadership development in graphic communications,” said Joseph P. Truncale, NAPL president and chief executive officer. “We hope NAPL members act soon to benefit from their generosity and support.” “We are very pleased that these widely respected companies recognize the value MLI brings to industry education and we encourage our members to take advantage of this very special opportunity,” said Michael Makin, president and chief executive officer of PIA/GATF. Completed application, due by June 1, 2006, must be accompanied by a letter of recommendation and a statement of how the student and the student’s employer will benefit from participation in the 2006 Management & Leadership Institute.
