May 1, 2006: Brown Printing Company's Woodstock, IL facility has been named Time Inc. Printer of the Year for 2005. According to Barry Meinerth, Senior Vice President of Production and Fulfillment at Time Inc., "The plant started producing Time, Sports Illustrated and People Magazine on a weekly basis in 2004. It's unprecedented for a new Time Inc. weekly plant to win this competition, especially in such a demonstrable fashion. This is an outstanding accomplishment and we thank them and congratulate them. Keep up the good work in 2006." Brown Printing Company is proud to have been named Time Inc.'s Printer of the Year. Brown also has facilities in Waseca, MN and East Greenville, PA, both of which also produce Time Inc. work.
