EU Services Installs Two Xerox Nuvera Presses

Press release from the issuing company

Rockville, MD – EU Services announces that it has recently installed two Xerox Nuvera 144 laser monochrome presses – the first installation of these machines in North America. The Nuvera 144 presses can perform single-color laser printing of up to 1200 x 1200 resolution on stocks up to 12” x 18.5”, sufficient for crystal-clear reproduction of fonts and graphics. EU Services will use the Nuvera presses to perform variable-data personalized printing on direct mail components. According to Chris Konkel, V.P. of Data Processing at EU Services, the state-of-the-art imaging capabilities of the Nuvera presses offer customers a broader range of direct mail personalization options. “One of the main advantages of these Xerox Nuvera presses is their ability to print on virtually any stock, including matte and gloss-coated stocks that don’t typically offer good results with laser printing,” said Konkel. “That allows customers with higher-volume projects to use offset-printed shells, then add personalization using these presses. This can save valuable time and money for clients working with a strict budget.” “With the addition of two Xerox Nuvera presses, EU Services remains onthe cutting edge of variable-data personalization technology,” said Art Simpson, President of EU Services. “Combined with our two Xerox iGen3 full-color digital production presses, we can offer the benefits of direct mail personalization to any customer for virtually any project and budget.”
