Xitron Sponsors Ann Arbor Ad Club 2006 Addy Awards

Ann Arbor, Michigan – February 6, 2006 – Xitron, the prepress industry's leading independent developer and integrator of Raster Image Processors, RIP management software and workflow solutions; today announced it has signed on as a sponsor of the annual Ann Arbor Ad Club 2006 Addy gala and award presentation to be held at 7:00 pm on February 10, 2006 at the Ann Arbor Art Center. “The awards feature the best creative work from Washtenaw County,” according to Ann Arbor Ad Club President and director of business development for Q Ltd., Derek Mehraban. “The Gala guest list includes everyone from advertising professionals, to writers and web designers.” The Ann Arbor Ad Club is one of more than 200 local chapter members of the American Advertising Federation. Every year local chapters hold their own awards program and then the local winners proceed to district events with those winners going on to national and international finals. More than 60,000 entries representing all phases of advertising media participate annually. "Xitron's roots are in Ann Arbor having been founded here more than 29 years ago,” stated James P. Thrush, President of Xitron. “We are pleased to have a small part in helping to support the local creative community."
