This is in addition to Océ (UK)’s existing sales efforts in the large format printing and outsourced document process management markets.” The team responsible for integrating Imagistics into the Océ family carefully assessed the market opportunities and identified the optimum organisational structure and leadership. A number of other integration efforts are in progress including rationalisation of IT systems, office locations, financial reporting and back office support. Adam Sheppard, the previous Managing Director of Imagistics International in the UK, has left the company. Simon Wheeler has taken on additional roles within Océ and is now the Director of Océ's DDS Commercial division, reporting to Nico Kooy, the Managing Director of Océ (UK) Ltd. Wheeler has previously run the high-speed printing business acquired from Siemens. Kooy said: “We have dedicated and committed workforce within Océ UK, which, once again has increased its turnover by a bigger margin than our competitors in terms of equipment sales. Imagistics’ product range and sales force will accelerate this growth in 2006.” He added: “Together, Océ and Imagistics will make a powerful combination, as our companies clearly complement each other. Our customers will benefit from an even more comprehensive product coverage, across all segments, from our new company.”
