Jet Expands Capacity With New Heidelberg Equipment

Press release from the issuing company

Downers Grove, Illinois (01/5/06)- Today Jet announces a significant investment in their business with the purchase of a new Heidelberg Speedmaster CD102 six-color press with UV technology. This is a wonderful compliment to their current press venue. The new equipment acquisition will allow for improved productivity as well as increased UV print capacity. Jet continues to expand and acquire equipment as their customer demand increases. “There’s nothing more important than meeting and exceeding our existing customer’s expectations and attracting new customers. The acquisition of this new best-in-class press allows us more capacity to service our customers,” said Tony Haugen, Sr. Vice President Sales & Marketing. “It is our customers that have offered us the opportunity to grow our business.” Jet’s management team has been researching and shopping for the absolute best solution to their customers needs. “It’s about leading graphic technologies, new ways of printing, and finding the best solutions,” said Jet President & Owner George Bogdanovic. Jet strategically chose Heidelberg’s latest technology for the ability to print on new and unique substrates, as well as more efficiency in plastic print manufacturing. It is the most productive sheetfed press ever designed providing the most comprehensive range of dedicated 40-inch print production options. “With the addition of a Speedmaster CD102 to our PMDC, we are giving printers and others in the industry access to a best-in-class press,” said Heidelberg USA President James Dunn.
