Heidelberg To Sponsor Inaugural Momentum In Print Symposium

KENNESAW, Ga., January 18, 2006 – Heidelberg USA will demonstrate the power of connectivity with updated products from its Prinect family of integrated workflow components at Adobe Systems’ Momentum in Print 2006 conference. Heidelberg, which will exhibit at booth # S1, shares a platinum sponsorship of the inaugural event with Xerox Corporation. “Heidelberg is pleased to sponsor Adobe’s Momentum in Print, which provides a unique platform for sharing the latest information and technologies with print industry leaders,” said Ray Cassino, director, prepress product management for Heidelberg USA. “Heidelberg is committed to connecting with our customers and helping them take advantage of new technologies and solutions to achieve maximum profitability.” Heidelberg will display the latest versions of its Prinect Printready System, Prinect Signa Station and Prinect Color Solutions, such as Prinect Profile Toolbox, Prinect Color Editor and Prinect Quality Monitor, at the conference. As a platinum event sponsor, the company will host a breakfast session on Monday, January 23 from 7:15 a.m. - 8:15 a.m., during which Dr. Peter Leu, vice president, Prinect product management, will give a presentation on the features, functions and connectivity of the Prinect workflow. In addition, Heidelberg customers will moderate and participate in panel discussions throughout the three-day symposium. Focusing on essential technical and business issues shaping today’s print industry, the Momentum in Print conference will take place in San Francisco at the San Francisco Marriott Hotel January 22-24. Approximately 700 print industry leaders, including printers, Adobe vendor partners, developers, educators and association members, are expected to attend. Participants will gain knowledge and insight to help them make informed, successful business decisions through educational forums, tutorials, keynote addresses, panel discussions, debates and demonstrations. The three-day program was developed by an advisory group of industry movers and shakers led by Frank Romano, professor emeritus, Rochester Institute of Technology in New York.
