ICS Names TargetColour Ltd. As Dealer for UK & Ireland
Press release from the issuing company
New York, NY; November 14, 2005 – Integrated Color Solutions (ICS), the industry leader in providing remote color proofing solutions, has added Europe’s TargetColour Ltd. to resell ICS’ award-winning Remote Director monitor-based contract proofing system and PressOK hardware option to the graphic arts community in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
Established in 1999, TargetColour is a color engineering firm that provides professional color services to the print and publishing markets in the U.K. TargetColour’s team of color specialists has more than 100 years of combines prepress and publishing experience and has a specific focus on ICC profile color management in workflow.
“We’re extremely pleased to add TargetColour to the ICS team,” said Jeffrey Silverman, ICS’ president and CEO. “This partnership enables us to continue to bring Remote Director into new parts of the world. Remote Director continues to erase the geographical borders which have historically been a constraint for the printing and publishing markets.”
ICS’s Remote Director is the first SWOP-certified, display-based contract proofing system that applies advanced color management and software technologies to ensure color-accurate proofs. It allows multiple users to view the same artwork, add comments and collaborate about color as well as content and build a complete digital record of the entire job from start to finish. Reviewers can collaborate in real-time or work at their own convenience, allowing photographers, agencies, clients, prepress shops and printers to all communicate more rapidly and effectively while viewing color with certainty.
“TargetColour has an outstanding reputation in both the UK and Ireland and offer a significant level of localized service and support, which is a valuable component of ICS’ goal of providing outstanding service to its customers,” added John Sweeney, ICS’ vice president of sales and marketing.
