Dalim Software publishes internet-based forum for user community

Press release from the issuing company

Kehl, Germany – Providing a new opportunity for Dalim Software users to share print and publishing ideas specific to their experiences, Dalim Software, a global leader in the design and development of innovative and automated professional production workflow software for prepress, print, packaging, advertising and publishing, announces that it has created Dalim Software Forums, a free internet-based user forum. The idea is to create an online community of users and resellers that can exchange views not only about Dalim Software products, but the industry in general.   Any visitor can view most of the forums, located at http://forum.dalim.com/. However, only Dalim Software users, whether under service contract or otherwise, can register enabling them to contribute messages and view certain, password-protected forums. Dalim Software has developed and will manage the forum, but hopes the content will be generated solely from its customer base. Forums available on the site include: Dalim Software Corporate News: The latest news from Dalim Software, including news releases, appointments, announcements, technical collaborations, and more. Main Dalim Software Forum: This shared forum allows users to ask and answer technical and commercial questions about any Dalim Software application. Dalim User Organization (DUO) forum: An update with events and comments from members of the user organizations—both US and Europe. Hardware: News, chat and opinions on all things hardware, such as server systems, communications, networking, and storage. Software & Technology: An area where users can discuss industry-related issues such as standards, MIS systems, OPI software or Asset Management. Industry News & Comments: News, gossip opinions and more about anything to do with the industry. “We have learned from our user events that Dalim Software users are very sophisticated and, often, passionate about what they want. We’re obviously not going to replace the most popular industry forum sites, but we acknowledge our customers’ unique needs and interests,” comments Marketing Director Gee Ranasinha. “We also realized that we needed an active customer base that was large enough to support lively dialogue. Attendance at DUO, our user group meetings, has grown rapidly over recent years, confirming that the time was right to provide this resource.” Dalim Software customers are encouraged to register and participate to Dalim Software Forums (http://forum.dalim.com/). Because of the breadth of international representation among users, messages in any language are welcome.
