ICS Names Integrated Color Exclusive Manufacturer for Display Profiling

Press release from the issuing company

Billerica, Mass., (November 7, 2005) – Integrated Color Corporation, creator of groundbreaking profiling tools for both the graphic arts and photography markets, has partnered with Integrated Color Solutions (ICS) as the worldwide exclusive manufacturer of ICS' standalone display profiling tools, including ColorEyes? Display. Integrated Color's ColorEyes Display monitor profiling software gives users unrivaled color precision and works with most colorimeters and spectrophotometers on the market today, including GretagMacbeth's Eye-One and X-Rite's DTP-94, meaning users can simply upgrade current software rather than purchase additional hardware. “We are excited about our partnership with Integrated Color,” said John Sweeney, vice president, sales and marketing, for Integrated Color Solutions. “For users of ICS' Remote Director, ColorEyes? Display is a natural extension into profiling color critical monitors in the rest of the workplace.” “Thanks to the features and enhancements we've included, ColorEyes Display users are able to enjoy absolute control of their color,” says Derrick Brown, Integrated Color's president. “There's no other product on the market capable of providing what ColorEyes Display can provide.” ColorEyes Display now also features full Direct Digital Control (DDC) for most Mac-driven monitors and for Eizo and LaCie monitors tied to a PC. DDC provides full control of monitor hardware through ColorEyes Display for precise adjustment of white point, black point and color balance, meaning users no longer have to rely on on-screen controls to make necessary adjustments. Users will also enjoy added precision with iterative gray balance measurements, creating the most neutral profiles in the industry, as well as L* gamma support for visually linear profiles. ColorEyes Display now also features profile verification to test monitor, profile and instrument accuracy. “Whether you're a photographer, graphic designer or commercial printer, color is critical,” adds Brown. “We understand that and we've designed ColorEyes Display to provide the most accurate and reliable monitor profiles available on the market.” ColorEyes products allow users to calibrate their input devices, from cameras to monitors, achieving complete color control and precision and creating a significant time savings over the trial-and-error method used by many.
