MAN Roland names Ken Hamel Sheetfed District Sales Manager in the East

Ken Hamel is MAN Roland Inc.’s new District Sales Manager for sheetfed systems in the East, covering a territory that encompasses New England and part of Upstate New York. Hamel’s credentials include over 25 years experience in the graphic arts. His expertise spans all areas from pre-press to bindery, beginning with trade production and management and followed by five years of teaching Graphic Arts Theory and Shop Applications in Massachusetts technical high schools. Since entering the sales arena in 1981, Hamel has represented such brands as nuArc, SCREEN (USA), Linotype-Hell, Polaroid Graphics Imaging (now Latran), and Presstek. He also has spent time working at the dealer level in various sales and management positions. Capitalizing on his trade experience, Hamel has participated in all areas of the graphic arts from prepress, to bindery, to consumables. With his knowledge of the industry, he looks forward to promoting the huge automation advantages MAN Roland systems provide. Hamel is well known in the industry in the New England area, having covered the territory for the past 24 years. During that time, he has given numerous presentations and seminars to trade associations and professional groups in the Northeast and Canada.
