SimplePrep Offered Free-Of-Charge Through End Of Year

Press release from the issuing company

Dover, NH, September 19th 2005-- PerfectProof is now offering licenses for its ground-breaking SimplePrep software free-of-charge. Printing companies around the world are using SimplePrep to prevent the headaches they face when receiving files created with Microsoft Office applications such as Word or Publisher. Through the end of the year, PerfectProof is offering 3 fully-functional licenses of SimplePrep free-of-charge. “In the 4 months since we launched SimplePrep, customer response has been fantastic: Every printer that uses it tells us that SimplePrep saves them time, money and headache,” explains John Weissberg, President of PerfectProof. “We know SimplePrep will come to be widely adopted in the industry. The best way we can speed that adoption is to offer it free-of-charge.” Print shops can request their free-of-charge licenses online at http://simpleprep.com/free.html SimplePrep is a small printing utility, which a printing company distributes to its customers. The customer installs SimplePrep on the same PC where he has created the Microsoft Office document. The SimplePrep FileFixer converts the Microsoft Office document to PostScript, embeds all fonts, converts colors from RGB to CMYK for both images and text, fattens hairlines, rejects low-resolution images and more. When the customer sends the job to the printing company, it is completely press-ready. Although there are other tools on the market that help make files press-ready, all are designed for pre-press professionals and are expensively priced. SimplePrep is the first such tool that’s simple enough for ordinary PC users with no pre-press expertise and is priced at $10 per copy or less.
