Philadelphia, PA - September 12, 2005 -- Scanvec Amiable, the leading provider of Software Solutions for the Professional Sign Making, Digital Printing and CAD/CAM for CNC Manufacturing Industries, announces the acquisition of Colorbus European Operations, based in Watford UK, along with worldwide, non-exclusive licensing and distribution rights of Colorbus software. “We welcome Colorbus to the Scanvec Amiable family,” said Mark Blundell, CEO of Scanvec Amiable. “Colorbus will enhance Scanvec's existing operations in Europe, and add significantly to our capabilities in the proofing, prepress and graphics arts markets.” Colorbus has been responsible for a number of industry ‘firsts'; including the first RIP manufacturer to provide dual copier support, first to combine color copiers with large format and first to run on standard hardware and operating systems. Well established with a strong reputation in the European proofing market, Colorbus UK further enhances their digital solution with a line of specialty proofing papers. “This is an excellent opportunity for both Scanvec and Colorbus,” states Nick Gilmore, General Manager of Colorbus. “The merger of our technologies will compliment our products, as well as expand our opportunities into the future.” The Colorbus UK team and office locations, contact numbers and technical support will continue unchanged.
