ORLANDO, FLORIDA, August 16, 2005 – Sixty-seven companies were recognized for outstanding achievement in the graphic arts at the Printing Association of Florida's 18th Annual Florida Print Awards. Franklin/Trade Graphics LLC from Miami was awarded the Spinola Printers Supply Inc. Golden Flamingo Trophy for capturing the most Best of Category honors. Kamprint.net in Miami Lakes, Hall Printworks in Tampa, C & D Printing Company in St. Petersburg and Southeastern Printing in Stuart, captured a trophy for Best of Show Division I, II, III and IV, respectively. “Florida printers have reset the standard for excellence in printing,” said Mike Streibig, President of PAF, “The quantity and quality of entries this year was mind-boggling and resulted in a record number of awards.” In addition to the Best of Show divisions, sponsor trophies were presented in recognition of outstanding work in categories particularly difficult to judge, or to recognize exemplary use of printing processes.
