Vertis Announces Jim Litwin As VP Of Marketing Research

BALTIMORE, Md. (July 25, 2005) – Vertis today announced that Jim Litwin has joined the company as vice president of marketing research. In his new role, Litwin will lead Vertis' Customer Focus studies and RISC programs, client research, and customer care. A world-class research and marketing executive, Litwin will further ensure that Vertis' proprietary research continues to reveal powerful insights into consumer purchasing trends and behaviors, according to Janice Mayo, senior vice president, marketing. “Jim's experience developing customer relations programs for national brands will be instrumental in our ongoing effort to learn more about what motivates the customer and, with this knowledge, assist us in developing effective marketing campaigns for our clients,” said Mayo. “We are thrilled to have Jim join our team and are confident that his capabilities will help enable us to exceed our clients' expectations.” Litwin has more than 26 years of experience in marketing research, CRM, advertising, sales promotion, new product development and brand management. Prior to joining Vertis, Litwin served as vice president of marketing at Sears Portrait Studio, where he was responsible for marketing the chain of more than 1,000 studios in the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico.
