Entertainment Publications Selects Banta As Partner for ONE-TO-One Customer Marketing Program

Monday, June 20, 2005

Press release from the issuing company

MENASHA, June 16, 2005 – Banta Corporation, a technology and market leader in printing and supply-chain management, today announced its partnership with Entertainment Publications Inc., the world’s leading provider of consumer savings and merchant promotions, and an operating business of IAC/InterActiveCorp. Banta will provide digital and web printing solutions for the Entertainment Consumer Products division’s geographically matched One-to-One coupon marketing program, which includes more than 215,000 different discount offers throughout North America. “We chose to partner with Banta because of its high level of client service and commitment to our production needs,” said Ted Speers, director of corporate marketing for Entertainment Publications. “Banta stood out in our selection process due to its ability to provide all of the services we required, in a format compatible with our current production methods.” Entertainment Publications’ One-to-One marketing program serves Fortune 1000 companies who want to provide a unique loyalty program to customers. The service offers geographically matched or “geo-sorted” discount offers to a company’s customers based on their addresses and interests, which are valid for use at local dining, shopping and entertainment destinations. The service offers added value to a company’s customers, and is an important factor in establishing and maintaining relationships with new, existing and at-risk customers. Entertainment has provided this product to industry leaders in the financial, telecommunications and insurance industries. Banta utilizes the geo-sorting technology to provide customized direct mail offers to the customers of Entertainment’s clients based on specific customer addresses, instead of just generic zip codes. Additionally, because merchants in the program only allow discount offers in original formatting to be used, Banta was able to streamline Entertainment’s nationwide office web production process and ensure the PDF format remained intact in printed coupons. “At Banta, we are proud of our ability to address and adapt to the needs of each customer,” said Jim Cyze, president of Banta Direct Marketing Group. “Entertainment Publications offers the most targeted direct mail customer loyalty program available, and we are excited to provide streamlined technology solutions to enhance its web and print marketing services.”
