X-Rite's New Color Measurement Solutions to Interface with Onyx Graphics

GRANDVILLE, Mich.--June 7, 2005-- X-Rite today announced that Onyx Graphics software systems will interface with and support X-Rite's new color measurement solutions, including the Pulse (DTP20), DTP70 and DTP45 spectrophotometers, for accurate linearization, calibration and recalibration. Combined with Onyx Media Manager, a component of Onyx ProductionHouse(TM) and Onyx PosterShop software packages, X-Rite's solutions will provide accurate spot and scanned color measurements to create highly accurate ICC profiles for customers worldwide. "We have found these solutions to be very fast, accurate, and easy-to-use. Our customers will appreciate the simplicity in which they interface with our Media Manager software." Onyx Graphics customers running Version 6.0 can download "Autoupdate batch 4" from the Onyx Graphics website at www.onyxgfx.com to enable support for X-Rite's color measurement solutions. X-Rite's Hardware Color Solutions for Onyx Graphics: Pulse (DTP20): The new X-Rite Pulse spectrophotometer sets a new standard for form, function, and ease-of-use. With one touch activation and a unique integrated tracking system, scanning color targets is fast and error free. The state of the art technology of the handheld Pulse can also be operated in a cordless mode for portability. DTP70: The DTP70 is a high speed X-Y scanning spectrophotometer, capable of reading an ECI target with over 1400 patches in less than five minutes. The DTP70 is loaded with special features, including single-button activation, automatic calibration and self alignment that virtually eliminates read errors. DTP45: The DTP45 is a strip reading spectrophotometer with a removable assembly for instant and easy spot reading.
