Press release from the issuing company

STAMFORD, Conn., May 3 -- Pitney Bowes Inc. today launched a new automated mail folding and inserting system that helps businesses improve the speed, accuracy, and efficiency of outgoing mail communication. The new Pitney Bowes FastPac Inserting System DI900/DI950 Series is an integrated desktop solution that combines advanced software and leading-edge paper handling technology designed specifically to meet the high-end demands of mailers who run a wide variety of jobs, including "print on demand" marketing campaigns. "Whether output is complex transactional mail such as multi-page statements and bills, checks, credit cards or promotional material, the DI900/DI950 is perfectly designed for handling high volume jobs, and allowing for more revenue generating activities, such as targeted marketing campaigns," said Diane Vulcano, product manager for the FastPac Series Inserting System. The new FastPac Series Inserting System is designed to be flexible enough to fit all needs of most mid- to large-sized businesses and mail centers, with more system functionality contained in a smaller footprint. Technological advances include a Tower Feeder that will hold up to 4 interchangeable feeders, a High Capacity Envelope Feeder, and an optional High Capacity Sheet Feeder for increased production and capacity. For organizations such as banks, insurance brokers, financial institutions and healthcare organizations that require a high level of security and integrity when processing their mail the DI900/DI950 FastPac Inserting Series offers advanced capabilities previously available only on high-volume inserting systems. The series integrates with Pitney Bowes optional SureTrac(TM) Software offering the latest scanning technology to process both simple and complex jobs with a high degree of integrity. Also available with this release is the new Process Verification feature, designed exclusively for the DI900/DI950 Series Inserting System. A feature typically available only with top-of-the-line console inserters, Process Verification provides closed loop monitoring and control to help ensure that no items in the mail run are lost or processed incorrectly. Another innovation featured on the DI900/DI950 FastPac Series Inserting System is the new PacPilot(TM) Control Panel that makes both inserting systems extremely easy to operate with a minimal amount of training. Onscreen, job specific icons and instructions specify how to load and run each job precisely. In addition, the solution can store up to 20 pre-programmed jobs. The DI900/DI950 Series Inserting System is an integrated solution, with innovative features, a broad array of configuration options and accessories and the ability to interface with Pitney Bowes mailing machines for one-step insertion, weighing and metering.
