DALLAS - April 14, 2005 — TS Printing Co., Inc. is adamant about customer service, emphasizing longtime experience in its hiring decisions and personalized attention to every customer request. These days, customers — many of them local businesses — are demanding higher-caliber projects with more colors and different types of finishes. The family-owned printing firm started the new year with a new Mitsubishi Diamond 3000LX sheetfed press. The six-color, 40-inch press boasts ultraviolet (UV) coating capabilities and skeleton transfer cylinders with air management that can handle a wider stock range than standard sheetfed presses. Widely acclaimed as the fastest, most versatile press in the 40-inch class, the Diamond 3000LX prints at speeds up to 16,000 sheets per hour and is capable of accommodating paper stock from .002 inches to .040 inches. Fast changeover capabilities allow press operators to quickly switch from bible paper to packaging board to cover stock. TS Printing installed a four-color Diamond 3000R convertible perfector with an inline coater in 2003, and at the time was already looking forward to its next Mitsubishi press. "We stayed with Mitsubishi because of the quality of that first press," said Terry Slagle, president. "It has performed better than we could have anticipated." "There was no doubt in our mind," echoed Tami Slagle, who works side by side with her husband as secretary/treasurer. "We are very impressed with the quality of the new press and the quality of the UV coating. The service we have received from the Mitsubishi organization is second to none."
