RICHMOND, Va., March 15 -- Cadmus Communications Corporation today announced that the American Chemical Society (ACS) has signed a multi-year contract extension for printing and related services. The ACS, the world's leading society publisher of scientific content, has relied on Cadmus for the printing and distribution of its 32 scholarly journals for many years. "We look forward to continuing our strong relationship with Cadmus as we address the serious challenges facing today's journal publishing environment," stated Bob Bovenschulte, President of ACS' Publications Division. "Cadmus' dedication and focus on the scholarly publishing market is clearly evident throughout the organization and is a key reason that ACS continues to rely on Cadmus for support of our publishing program." "We are pleased to extend and expand our relationship for the future. Multi-year agreements enable us to plan, invest and work more closely in a strategic partnership with the customer on initiatives to increase efficiency and effectiveness."
