Margie Dana Speaks at Print Buyers Conference in San Francisco

(Boston, MA)…Print consultant and author Margie Dana, an industry speaker who specializes in enhancing the printer-customer relationship, made a huge impact at the 5th annual Print Buyers’ Conference in San Francisco, California. According to Jim Frey, Executive Vice President of the Printing Industries of Northern California (PINC), Margie's presentations were high points of the conference. He said, “I’d love to have you back in 2006 – our attendees rated your two seminars the highest out of the ten we offered.” Her presentations were delivered to an audience of print buyers and printers. The first, entitled “Congratulations! You’re a Print Buyer,” outlined the critical skills required of today’s corporate print customer. “Fantastic speaker! Great resource!” wrote one attendee. Others added, “Dynamic speaker, humorous and entertaining,” and “Great presentation style, very energetic. Impossible to doze off in this class. Great learning sources.” Dana’s second presentation focused on 20 effective ways for customers to work “peacefully” as she called it, with their printers. This presentation earned the highest evaluation of all delivered at PINC’s conference. “Margie is an entertaining and informative presenter,” wrote one attendee. Others concurred. “Great! Great job! Good format!” “Good, practical tips that I can use tomorrow,” wrote others. Where other industry speakers traditionally focus on technology or sales, Dana takes a unique and much broader approach: she focuses on the successful printer/customer relationship and suggests numerous ways to foster and improve it. One conference attendee, a printer, noted that Dana gave “the most balanced presentation” he’d ever heard. As another attendee put it, Margie “brings the print industry alive and it’s about time.” Dana is a former corporate print buyer turned consultant.
