ICED and Pageflex Partner to Bring Online Storefronts to Major Print Provider Brands

Press release from the issuing company

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--Jan. 10, 2005-- Pageflex, the leading provider of Web-to-print technology, and ICED, the International Center for Entrepreneurial Development, today announced an agreement that will bring Pageflex Storefront, with its un-matched document customization and online ordering capabilities, to leading centers among its franchise network, which includes Kwik Kopy Printing, American Wholesale Thermographers, Copy Club, The Ink Well, Franklin's Printing, and Kwik Kopy Business Centers. The agreement means that print provider franchises in the ICED network will be able to offer their clients enhanced online services including customized self-service portals and sophisticated online document customization based on standardized templates. In addition, the ICED network will be the first to utilize Pageflex Storefront with its new HTML output module, enabling service providers to offer integrated capabilities to their end-users for personalized print, email and Web campaigns. "Our strategic growth plan calls for our franchise centers to evolve into total solution providers," said Brian Gay, President of the print and copy brands, ICED. "Making Pageflex Storefront available to our leading centers is an instrumental component in this plan and is one of our major initiatives for 2005." Pageflex Storefront enables quick and easy definition, auto-generation, and management of attractive Web-to-print document customization sites, through an easy-to-use Web-based interface. Included in the package is user, shopping cart and order management, as well as personalization and customization technology. At the core of the solution, is Pageflex Web-to-print composition technology, including flexible templates that enable document layouts to "flex," accommodating variable content within sophisticated designer-specified guidelines. "We're very pleased to have teamed up with ICED to provide Pageflex Storefront to the major print provider brands in the ICED network," commented Anna Chagnon, Pageflex CEO. "The fact that these major brands have chosen to build their strategy upon a foundation of Pageflex technology is significant, and we look forward to working with ICED to make the initiative a success."
