Providence, RI - January 7, 2005 - Gaspee Publishing, publisher of Printing Equipment Guide and Trader Publishing Company, former publisher of Printer's Hotline, announced today that Gaspee Publishing has acquired the remaining assets of Printer's Hotline for an undisclosed amount. The assets of Printer's Hotline include its mailing database, its advertising database, its trade name and logo, and its internet URL, printershotline.com. Printer's Hotline ceased publication in October 2004. "I am very happy to be acquiring these assets as I think there is much value in them," said Frank Mauran, owner of Gaspee Publishing. "They will help us to provide better quality circulation for our customers, increase referrals to our website, as well as impart some of the goodwill from Printer's Hotline which for many years was a leading magazine in the printing industry." Gaspee Publishing is located in Providence, RI. It publishes one title, Printing Equipment Guide. Trader Publishing is located Norfolk, VA. It publishes numerous titles, including Auto Trader magazine.
