Washington, D.C.- From New York to Kentucky to California, the U.S. Government Printing Office is giving America's printing industry literally millions of reasons to work together with the GPO. In Fiscal Year 2004 alone, the GPO purchased about $450 million worth of printing and related services from thousands of private sector companies across the country. "The GPO competitively buys products and services from printers nationwide, procuring between 600 and 1,000 print-related projects a day to vendors across the country. In fact, the majority of the work produced by the GPO is contracted out to private sector companies. The contracts cover the entire spectrum of printing and publishing services and are available to fit almost any firm from the largest to the smallest.
