Enovation Highlights New Solution Centers at Graph Expo 2004
Press release from the issuing company
VALHALLA, N.Y. (Oct. 21, 2004) – At this year’s Graph Expo in Chicago, Enovation Graphic Systems, Inc. demonstrated its commitment to printers and their businesses with a booth centered on solutions to the issues and problems they face every day.
“Owners of printing and prepress facilities have a number of concerns today, everything from whether or not to implement a CTP workflow to achieving better color in the proofing process to considering expanding their services to include digital printing,” explains Tim Combs, senior vice president, sales and marketing, for Enovation. “We understand those concerns and we’re here to help. Our experts are in the field every day and can make recommendations that will fit the individual needs of each operation.”
Enovation featured four new “solution centers,” focusing on improving print quality, turnkey CTP, no-excuses proofing and building a digital profit center.
Print quality is often synonymous with consistency – a printer’s ability to achieve and deliver the same results again and again. Consistency is the result of making the right decisions throughout the entire production process, from researching and using the right plate to building and training the best team. To assist printers with this, Enovation created its Professional Services Group, a team of experts designed to work on-site with those customers and help them improve their processes.
Enovation’s Turnkey CTP solution center showed show-goers the benefits of a CTP workflow and explained how it can improve profitability. And, because Enovation represents a number of industry manufacturers, Enovation’s experts can help individual customers identify the best options and customize a workflow for each shop. Relationships with quality manufacturers – including ECRM and Fujifilm – ensure that Enovation customers get equipment they can count on to ensure the future of their businesses.
Proofing is also an important part of the production process and, with Enovation’s “No-Excuses Proofing,” Enovation’s experts assisted show-goers in selecting the types of proofing that best fit their needs. Enovation represents a number of manufacturers, including Epson, Integrated Color Solutions and Fujifilm, and is able to offer remote, inkjet, digital and traditional proofing. Enovation representatives were also on hand to discuss color management, spot color accuracy, remote proofing applications and inkjet proofing.
Digital printing is not new technology, but it is growing at a rate of more than 20 percent each year and is the fastest-growing segment of the printing industry. Enovation is currently running a nationwide “Unlock Your Digital Profit Center” road show with Xerox and EFI, and hosted a smaller version at the company’s booth during Graph Expo. Almost anything can be printed digitally and, with different customer demands, is the answer that many printers are looking for.
