9th Annual PDF Conference in Baltimore Announces Successful Event

September 16, 2004—Phoenix, AZ -- Another successful PDF Conference was held this year at the Baltimore Convention Center on September 13-14, with 270 people in attendance according to Carl Young, PDF Conference Producer. Prior to the close of the event, Young announced that the next conference has already been scheduled for September 2005. Attendees learned tips and tricks from the biggest names in the PDF world and participated in various PDF sessions lead from industry gurus including Carl Young, Carl Young Training Associates; Michael Ouslander, Adobe; Claudia McCue, Practicalia; Leonard Rosenthol, PDF Sages and many others. “We had our usual strong mix of two-thirds commercial and government attendees and one-third creative professionals. As it often happens, several attendees walked up to me at the show and said at least one thing they learned more than paid for their travel and registration fees,” Young reports. The high-tech giveaways from popular industry sponsors were among the draws at this year’s event. Paul Sale won the Dell Inspiron 1150 laptop computer, sponsored by ActivePDF, bundled with a copy of Adobe Creative Suite, donated by Adobe.
