NAPERVILLE, Ill., Jan. 7 -- The Tag and Label Manufacturers Institute, Inc. (TLMI) announced that Corporate Express Document & Print Management, a leading provider of comprehensive printing, label and direct mail solutions, recently won five awards at TLMI's 26th Annual Awards Competition. This prestigious international competition honors the finest labels produced by member converters in North, South and Central America, Europe and Australia. Corporate Express' Information Systems Label Division in Dallas, Texas, won a first-place award in the "EDP Label" category for its "Triweb Prescription" label. Within the Product Identification (PID) Label category, both of Corporate Express' PID plants received awards. The company's Fresno, California, Division won a second-place award in the "non-pressure-sensitive -- all processes -- line -- prime" category for its "Royal Grass" label, and honorable mention awards in the "EDP Label" category for its "Smart Saver" entry, and the "non-pressure-sensitive -- all processes -- line and screen/tone -- prime" category for its "Sun Laundry Detergent" label. Corporate Express' PID facility in Wichita, Kansas, won an honorable mention for the "flexography -- color process -- prime" category for its "Coleman ALL American Combo" label. The 26th Annual TLMI Awards Competition drew 273 entries from 54 converter member companies, resulting in 81 awards.
