Mulcahy, chairman and chief executive officer of Xerox Corporation, will be the opening keynote speaker at the upcoming, co-located AIIM 2004 and ON DEMAND 2004 Conferences & Expo. AIIM 2004, the enterprise content management event, and ON DEMAND 2004, the digital printing & automated production event, takes place March 8-10, 2004 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City. Both events offer qualified buyers and suppliers the opportunity to take part in separate, educational conference sessions, held together with one conjoined expo floor showcasing the latest technologies of each industry. A respected leader in the IT and business world, Mulcahy will take the spotlight as the opening-day keynote. Document & content management and digital printing & publishing experts will hear Mulcahy speak on Monday, March 8, 2004, starting at 9:00 a.m. in Special Events Hall 1D. Her presentation, titled "Innovation at Work: The Link Between Document Strategies and Business Results," will explore the need to transform work processes to drive new growth and productivity. Mulcahy will discuss the intersection of technology and services, focusing on hidden costs and opportunities for corporations and external service providers. With more than 25 years' experience at Xerox, Anne Mulcahy was elected CEO in August 2001 and chairman in January 2002. Prior to these positions, she was president and chief operating officer, as well as president of Xerox's General Markets Operations, which created and sold products for reseller, dealer, and retail channels. In addition to her position on the Xerox board, she is a member of the boards of directors of Fuji Xerox Company, Ltd., Target Corporation, Catalyst, and Fannie Mae. Mulcahy is also a member of The Business Council. Under Mulcahy's leadership, Xerox has completed a dramatic turnaround, strengthened its core office and production businesses, and expanded into new services designed to streamline document-intensive processes. "Anne Mulcahy is a great addition to the prominent array of visionary speakers coming to AIIM and ON DEMAND 2004," said Brian Randall, general manager of Advanstar's Information Technology Group. "Xerox's commitment and participation underscores that AIIM and ON DEMAND are the leading ECM and digital printing & automated production events. We are honored to have such a respected IT leader provide attendees with insight on the latest technology advancements, and overall business management outlook for the future." "Xerox's presence at AIIM and ON DEMAND 2004 will be a true value add for all attendees," said John Mancini, president of AIIM International. "We look forward to Anne Mulcahy's discussion on productivity and growth of document management technologies as creating, customizing, delivering, and managing documents are top priorities in ECM business operations." "The on-demand industry is constantly evolving, and it is important to keep industry professionals informed of the latest technologies and solutions," said Charles A. Pesko, Jr., managing director of CAP Ventures. "The ON DEMAND Conference & Expo is the optimal event to gather key digital printing and automated production trends via the educational conference sessions and keynotes. Anne Mulcahy's keynote presentation on increasing business process efficiencies and decreasing workflow systems costs will provide valuable insights on these key issues from an industry leader."
