Kodak Board Elects Michel Dermont a Vice President

ROCHESTER, N.Y.--July 22, 2004-- Eastman Kodak Company announced today that its board of directors has elected Michel Dermont a vice president of the company. Dermont, 57, joined Kodak in July as General Manager of the European, African and Middle Eastern Region (EAMER) within the company's Digital & Film Imaging Systems division. Based in Geneva, he reports to Michael Korizno, who is Vice President, Worldwide Sales Operations, D&FIS, and a vice president of the company. A native of Brussels, Dermont spent 16 years with International Business Machines Corp. before joining Lexmark International Inc. in 1991. Dermont held several country general manager positions with Lexmark before being appointed vice president for Europe in 1997. After leaving Lexmark in June 2003, he worked with Kodak as a consultant before joining the company earlier this month. He is a graduate of the University of Brussels, with a degree in economics.
