KENNESAW, GA. - May 27, 2003 - Heidelberg USA announces the addition of Frank Woods to its consulting services for sheetfed, digital, prepress and finishing customers. Woods brings to Heidelberg more than 35 years of experience in print production and will be working for Heidelberg as a consultant-at-large. He is the retired president and founder of Woods Lithographics in Phoenix, Arizona. Woods was the 1995 GATF-NAPL Sheetfed Executive of the Year, 1996 RIT/Printing Impressions Hall of Fame inductee and is a member of the Walter E. Soderstrom Society since 1997. Woods was also the Arizona State University Printer of the Year, and the 1997 International Association of Printing House Craftsmen Printer of the Year for the Arizona region. He founded the Frank B. Woods Scholarship to assist qualifying graphics arts students at Arizona State University. Woods’ professional affiliations have included Printing Industries of America, PIAZ, GATF, NAPL and AIGA, as well as the advertising clubs of Dallas, San Francisco, Phoenix, Tucson, Las Vegas and Denver. He currently serves on the Board and Executive Committee of PIA/GATF, and is a past member of the board of NAPL.
