Noosh Selected by American Heart Association to Provide Print Management

Press release from the issuing company

Santa Clara, CA - March 11, 2003 - Noosh, Inc. a leading provider of collaborative e-Business software solutions, today announced that the American Heart Association has chosen Noosh to provide a web-based solution for managing production workflow and procurement of printed and interactive media materials.  The American Heart Association (AHA) is the nation's largest voluntary health agency fighting heart disease, stroke and other cardiovascular diseases. The AHA will use Noosh 5 to help automate workflow among personnel involved in the multiple stages of the print and media product lifecycle, from concept to completion. This includes internal and external teams involved in the creation, design, procurement, printing, warehousing, and shipping of materials. "The more we can improve efficiencies and lower expenses the better," said Kathy Bridwell, Purchasing Manager at the AHA.  "Our goal with Noosh is to better streamline, standardize, and manage our project management and procurement processes." The American Heart Association will use Noosh 5's customization capabilities to meet their data capture, terminology, procurement, and workflow requirements. For instance, Noosh's customizable specification forms will capture exactly the information desired by AHA buyers and suppliers for various types of print and media products. Noosh will enable AHA to implement a consistent naming and numbering convention to improve coordination between design, copy, production, management, purchasing, and warehousing.   Noosh 5 will replace manual-based ordering processes with electronic processes to an extended supply base of printers and a print outsourcing agency.  Finally, AHA will take advantage of Noosh 5's scheduling and task management tools to help keep the organization's yearly production of 1000+ projects on-time and on-budget. "The American Heart Association supports valuable research, education, and community service," said Mike Gardner, CEO of Noosh.  "We are delighted that they are applying Noosh's efficiencies to help them maximize resources to do that even better."
