Presstek Appoints Barbara A. Pellow to Board Of Directors

HUDSON, N.H., Jan. 8 -- Presstek, Inc., a leading provider of direct digital imaging technology, today announced the appointment of Barbara A. Pellow to Presstek's Board of Directors. Pellow is currently the Gannett Professor for Electronic Printing and Publishing at Rochester Institute of Technology's School of Printing Management and Sciences, as well as the Administrative Chair for the School of Print Media. As Gannett chair, Pellow focuses on the relationship between traditional paper-based media and emerging electronic new media. She has over 25 years of experience in management, digital technology, printing and publishing, product management, advertising, marketing communications and sales and marketing. Before joining RIT, Pellow was senior vice president of marketing at IKON Office Solutions where she was responsible for developing integrated business and marketing strategies for all of IKON's product and service offerings and the e-commerce and e-service initiatives. Prior to IKON, she was group director for the On Demand Printing and Publishing Service at CAP Ventures, one of the industry's leading digital document management consulting firms. In this capacity, Pellow worked with a number of different suppliers and users of digital document management technology in the development of strategic plans for utilization of emerging technologies. Preceding that, Pellow was vice president of worldwide marketing for Indigo, and vice president and general manager of Xerox's US Document Production Systems unit. Pellow played a major role at Xerox in the market introduction of the DocuTech product line. Pellow started her business career in sales and marketing at IBM. Pellow received a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration from Michigan Technological University. Presstek's Chairman of the Board Richard Williams said, "We are delighted to welcome Barb to Presstek's Board of Directors.
