Knight Bindery Produces perfect bound books with new Muller Martini AmigoPlus

Press release from the issuing company

Tyler, Texas — Knight Bindery is making the Southwest’s printing scene a bit more perfect, installing a Muller Martini AmigoPlus to produce perfect bound books. Capable of producing up to 1,500 copies per hour, the AmigoPlus handles a wide variety of book formats and thicknesses. Its digitally driven control panel contains a display that guides the operator through the binding process, step-by-step. That means even bindery novices can produce paperback books quickly on the AmigoPlus. Book quality is enhanced by AmigoPlus’ separate hotmelt side gluing unit. It applies a uniform layer of glue along the front and rear side of every spine to beef-up the structure and durability of every book created. AmigoPlus is the only binder in its class with this feature.
