Press release from the issuing company

DALLAS--Nov. 21, 2002--Docucorp International, a leading provider of enterprise information solutions, today announced that it signed an application service provider (ASP) contract with Shell Energy Services Company, L.L.C. Shell Energy Services will utilize Docucorp's ASP center, which processes raw data and creates highly customized documents, for its print bill production, distribution, and hosted archive capabilities. "By outsourcing our bill production and distribution process to Docucorp's ASP center, we will be able to better serve our customers and provide for future service enhancements. The automated processes at Docucorp's ASP center will help ensure the integrity of our mail pieces and reduce our mailing costs," said Bill Mann, Shell Energy Services Customer Care Manager. "Furthermore, the online accessibility of the electronic archive will enable our customer service representatives to handle customer service requests more effectively." "Our ASP centers provide companies with all the hardware, software and technical expertise that's needed to process, present and deliver enterprise-wide information, whether it's bills, statements or customer correspondence," said Kerry LeCrone, Docucorp's senior vice president, ASP. "Docucorp's outsourcing solution not only supports Shell Energy Service's current publishing needs, but it also puts them in a position to take advantage of Internet-based solutions in the future."
