CHICAGO, Oct. 28 -- Oce, a leading supplier of digital document management and delivery technology, announces the availability of Oce Satin PrintPerfect and Oce Adhesive Backed Matte PrintPerfect wide-format media -- bright white satin and matte coated alternative photopapers developed and manufactured by Oce.  The new products are being showcased at Booth #414 at the SGIA '02 (Screenprinting and Graphic Imaging Association) Exposition and Convention, October 30 - November 2, 2002 in St. Louis, MO. Both the Oce Satin PrintPerfect and Oce Adhesive Backed Matte PrintPerfect products join the existing family of Oce PrintPerfect photopapers, which already includes both matte- and glossy-finish products.  The Oce PrintPerfect line was designed to provide an economical alternative to traditional photobase papers.  Oce PrintPerfect alternative photopapers are easier to use with a lower total production cost. The Oce Adhesive Backed Matte PrintPerfect alternative photopaper features a permanent adhesive backing combined with a universal matte coating that accepts both pigment and dye inks. This new matte finish adhesive-backed photopaper now extends Oce's innovative universal coating technology (originally developed for the Oce PhotoPerfect Plus product line) to the Oce PrintPerfect product line.  The coating's ability to accept both pigment and dye based inks eliminates the need for maintaining separate ink-specific paper stocks and making time- consuming paper changes on the printer -- which reduces overall inventory and production costs. Both the Oce Satin PrintPerfect and Oce Adhesive Backed Matte PrintPerfect papers are designed for applications such as indoor signage (posters, point- of-purchase displays), presentation/ exhibition signage, and high quality CAD and GIS mapping. They are compatible with all major inkjet display graphics printers including Oce, Encad, Epson, Hewlett-Packard, ColorSpan and Roland.
