NPC installs a Muller Martini Prima SB with Selective Binding Capabilities

Claysburg, Pennsylvania — NPC, Inc. is expanding their saddle stitching capabilities with the installation of a Muller Martini Prima SB. The new addition is configured with six pockets, a cover folder feeder and an integrated ink jet system. The company currently offers saddle stitching as well as perfect bind, side-stitch, paste-on-fold, and loose-leaf. This new piece of equipment is part of an overall expansion of both its equipment and building. The "SB" in Prima’s name stands for selective binding. A digitally driven control system equips the machine to assemble individualized versions of books at a top operating speed of 13,000 cycles per hour. NPC, Inc. is a full-service, digital and printed document services provider located in central Pennsylvania. NPC serves government and commercial customers with Project Management, Conversion & Composition, Offset Printing, Digital Printing, and Fulfillment & Distribution services.
