PITTSBURGH, Oct. 2 -- Printcafe Software, Inc. today announced that based on preliminary estimates, it expects revenue for the third quarter ending September 30, 2002 to fall within the range of $11.0 million and $11.2 million, compared to $10.7 million reported in the third quarter of 2001. The Company's pro forma net loss for the third quarter, which excludes amortization of intangibles, non-cash charges, and restructuring expenses, is expected to fall within the range of $(0.11) to $(0.09) per share, compared to a pro forma net loss of $(0.31) per share in the prior-year period. License and subscription revenue is expected to be in the range of $4.9 million to $5.1 million, compared to $4.7 million during the third quarter of 2001. These preliminary results are below the Company's earlier guidance and are due to the impact of the weak economic environment. The Company will provide additional details on the third quarter results and outlook in its third quarter earnings release on October 15.
