RSA Now Serving WebCRD in ASP

Press release from the issuing company

Rochester, NY -- Across the Internet, print center managers and operators are saying "I Love WebCRD" - and with good reason.  The industry's best Web-to-Print solution (Best of Show ON DEMAND 2008 & 2007) delivers enterprise production capabilities with the reliability of genuine Adobe PDF, to meet the needs of print centers of all sizes.

"Accurate files arrive to the shop due to SurePDF," notes Raj Nadrajan, Director of Information Services at Simon Fraser University.  "Business cards on WebCRD Dynamics are a dream-come-true!  It's easy for customers to adapt to WebCRD.  We have almost 50,000 orders in the system.  We love WebCRD!"

Organizations now have even more to love about WebCRD.  Today, RSA introduces WebCRD OnDemand - a hosted version of its award-winning WebCRD solution.  This ASP (Application Service Provider) configuration uses the same web-to-print software that leading enterprises have been using for over nine years, but it is now available with RSA managing the servers in its own datacenter.  Organizations can be up-and-running quickly, and WebCRD's modular design enables the addition of features as their needs evolve.

If customers decide to migrate from WebCRD OnDemand to a WebCRD on-site solution, the transition is seamless since the software is identical in both configurations.  There is no need to start all over with a new database and user interface.  The print center's document archives, preferences, customizations, and user-settings all migrate easily.  Even then, RSA's on-site customers do not have to maintain the WebCRD server, as RSA manages and services it remotely.

Actually, WebCRD OnDemand is just now being made available to the general public, but WebCRD OnDemand has been operational for the past two years for select accounts. It is now available in full release for all of North America.

With WebCRD OnDemand, customers can now choose between an on-site or hosted option from the recognized enterprise leader in Web-to-Print.  Combined with RSA's Print Stimulus Package, customers can now add WebCRD's Pricing and Forms-based Variable Print Modules at no additional charge.  This means that Print Centers can be up-and-running with WebCRD OnDemand stating at $1,000 per month - ready to accept an unlimited number of orders from an unlimited number of users, with job pricing, approval authority, catalog ordering, variable print ordering, ad hoc ordering, reporting and more.  And additional modules can be added, including Enterprise Authentication (LDAP), Credit Card, Inventory Management, as well as complete production capabilities with the ability to send fully-ticketed jobs directly to your printers.

RSA recently completed a customer survey and found that there was indeed a lot of love for WebCRD.

"The auto-notification was the big hit with our users, and re-orders was nice," notes Mitch Cruse of Alegent Health.  "We set up Shared Archives service lines with their specific forms, which reduced the paper trail and central location for forms, brochures and files for users, VERY BIG HIT! Trigger notifications in AutoStock was awesome!  The data is wonderful. It helps us make smarter business choices and identify usage for all printed items. The customer service was outstanding!"

Of course, on-site or off-site, software is only as good as the people who support it.  RSA's support staff, all based in the U.S. and working side-by-side with the developers, provides top-notch service.

"We started working with RSA in December 2005," recalls Stacy Greene of Manatee County School District.  "I am still amazed at their ability to encompass all of our services in WebCRD.  The folks at RSA have always come through for us!"

Print Centers from all industries have fallen in love with WebCRD.

"We have been able to improve turnaround times since we brought production in house," observes Alin Diamond of Gevity.  "SurePDF has been a brilliant addition. Prior to that, folks had to wait for the Marketing department to produce PDFs.  Our volumes have been increasing every month as word-of-mouth gets around the company. The quality, ease of use, and quick turnaround-times have impressed every user.  By bringing brochures and forms in-house, the company has projected to save over $250K."
