Press release from the issuing company

Fonts to be Used in InScribe's InFinite Designs System for Creating Personalized Stationery WILMINGTON, Mass.--March 7, 2002--Agfa Monotype Corporation, a global provider of fonts and font technologies, today announced that 47 fonts have been licensed to InScribe, Inc., a major developer of in-store printing systems for creating invitations, announcements and personal stationery. The fonts will be used in InScribe's InFinite Designs system, installed at various invitation and stationery retailers throughout the U.S. InScribe selected TrueType fonts from Agfa Monotype's vast type library that includes such world-renowned collections as the Monotype Classics, ITC Fonts and Creative Alliance Exclusives. To increase the versatility and range of design options available from the InFinite Designs system, InScribe chose a variety of type styles, from handwriting and calligraphy to classical titling and picture fonts. "Our users are retailers who are very picky about type because they are creating invitations and announcements for their customers' special occasions,'' said Joseph Sieber, president of InScribe. "Agfa Monotype gave us the quality of type that our customers demand, whether those customers are looking for styles that are traditional, cutting edge, formal or fun.'' "Companies such as InScribe that produce desktop publishing software routinely choose Agfa Monotype for fonts,'' said Steve Kuhlman, vice president of Agfa Monotype. "Our expansive font libraries and expert type engineering allow us to provide the highest quality products and services possible.''
