Document Sciences Announces New Reseller Agreement With Xerox

CARLSBAD, Calif.---Feb. 18, 2002--Document Sciences Corporation today announced a reseller agreement with Xerox Corporation. Under the agreement Xerox Global Services, the company's consulting-led services business unit, will offer Document Sciences' Autograph LE allowing customers high-speed design and composition of mission-critical personalized communications. The combination of Xerox's document output capabilities and Document Sciences' Autograph LE offers an efficient migration path from black and white documents to full color personalized or transactional printing. This offering provides health insurance and financial services organizations the capability to rapidly produce documents such as account statements, benefits booklets, member cards, and explanation of benefits letters without costly custom coding and inefficient manual processes. With Autograph LE these documents can be delivered via email, fax, wireless device, or web browser. Autograph LE's multiple print formats include PostScript, PDF, Metacode, HTML, and Creo's Variable Print Specification (VPS), which allows users to achieve optimal print speed from Xerox DocuColor printers when producing variable data PostScript documents.
