Bitstream to Resell DiamondSoft Font Reserve, Replaces Font Navigator

Press release from the issuing company

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. & MILL VALLEY, Calif.--Dec. 3, 2001--Bitstream Inc. and DiamondSoft, Inc., announced today that Bitstream will resell DiamondSoft's Font Reserve. Font Reserve is created by DiamondSoft. Bitstream holds a minority interest. Bitstream will offer Font Reserve on its online store, as well as through its network of worldwide resellers. Bitstream is replacing Font Navigator, its font manager for Windows, with Font Reserve for Windows. Bitstream is discontinuing Font Navigator, but will offer upgrades for Font Reserve for Windows to current users who have Font Navigator version 3.01. Besides the Windows version, Bitstream will also offer Font Reserve for the Macintosh. The award-winning Font Reserve is a feature-rich and powerful tool for managing and using fonts. You can quickly activate, preview, sort, and copy the correct fonts without guesswork or hassles. When accessed through Font Reserve, MyFonts.com provides one-stop shopping and allows users to download fonts directly into their Font Reserve databases. "As the developer of the most technologically advanced font manager, it's natural that we would partner with a font manufacturer as innovative as Bitstream,'' says Brian Berson, President and Founder of DiamondSoft. "Our link to MyFonts.com and the advent of reselling Font Reserve through Bitstream's online store extends our existing partnership and provides added benefits to all of our customers.''
