WAVE Corporation Announces Integrated Web Proofing with MediaBank
Press release from the issuing company
LONGWOOD, Fl., November 9, 2001 –WAVE Corporation, an engineering and software development company, today announced it will incorporate Q-Proof; on-line page and image proofing, with MediaBank, with release scheduled for the first quarter of 2002.
Q-Proof will provide pixel level zooming capability, annotation, mark-up, and proofing tools. "Our development of the industries most value rich asset management software continues with solid enhancements like web proofing," said Ward Wright, managing partner of WAVE Corporation. "Similar proofing packages in the space sell for tens of thousands without any asset management capabilities; we will include this component of information delivery as part of our standard product offering to new and current customers. The return on investment for our customer base will continue to increase as we add functionality to an already robust and proven package," Wright concluded.
"The combination of media asset management and workflow tools with Q-Proof in a single integrated package is of tremendous benefit to printers, publishers, and agencies," said Dan Macaluso, director of Engineering. "Additional functionality with Q-Proof also includes on the fly file format conversion for image downloads. We will be exhibiting this feature and other enhancements at our annual IMUG conference to be held in February during Seybold New York."
