Canon Business Solutions Opens Office in Ellicott City to Serve Baltimore

ELLICOTT CITY, Md.--Oct. 2, 2001--Canon Business Solutions-Southeast, Inc., a subsidiary of Canon U.S.A., Inc. and a regional leader in document imaging systems, today announced the opening of its newest office in Ellicott City, Maryland. The 5,786 square foot office space is located in the newly constructed Columbia Corporate Park 100 and will serve commercial customers throughout the Baltimore metropolitan area. Canon U.S.A., Inc. is a subsidiary of Canon, Inc. "We are excited to be opening a branch that will help to better serve our rapidly growing base of customers in the Baltimore metropolitan area,'' said Lew Matuella, general manager for the Washington and Baltimore region. "We are committed to offering to this marketplace not only great solutions but also a solidly built infrastructure that will support our customer's evolving needs to the fullest,'' he added. "Customers can expect the same superior service that Canon Business Solutions has been providing to businesses throughout the Washington metropolitan area,'' said Gina Parker, branch service manager for the Washington and Baltimore region. "In fact, the new branch location will only help in providing additional resources such as increased parts inventory for our field technicians and drop-off service capabilities for our Canon customers in the Baltimore area,'' she added. Tanya Blackwell will assume the responsibility of branch manager of sales for the Baltimore area. "Our new location in Ellicott City,'' said Ms. Blackwell, "will not only serve as a sales and service hub but will also house a fully configured showroom to allow our customers to preview the latest in Canon's document management technology.'' The opening of the Baltimore office is part of the expansion of Canon Business Solutions-Southeast, Inc. based in Burlington, New Jersey. In addition to the new Baltimore office, it has offices in Philadelphia and Horsham, Pennsylvania, Wilmington, Delaware, Arlington, Virginia, Atlanta, Georgia, and opening soon in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. It provides clients with digital network printing, color and black and white copying, duplicating, faxing and large format printing along with business services consultation and outsourcing. Sintaks, Canon Business Solutions-Southeast, Inc.'s system integration company provides clients with additional support resources that focus on capabilities in IT Systems and Internet applications. Canon Business Solutions-Northeast, Inc. is based in New York and has offices throughout the New York metropolitan area, Detroit, Michigan, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and opening soon in Cincinnati, Ohio.
