Former Heidelberg Expert, Kennish To Lead Lucid Dreams Tech Support Team

HOFFMAN ESTATES, August 22, 2001 - Lucid Dream Software, developer of the industry-leading TIFF/ITflow and OnTimeProof workflow solutions, recently announced that Jim Kennish of Acworth, GA, has joined the company as a technical support specialist. In this position, Jim will oversee customer support and serve as the company's main technical support contact. He will work directly with Lucid's customers both over the phone and onsite, from initial product installation and training to follow up and problem solving. "Jim is a great addition to our technical support staff," says David Lewis, president, Lucid Dream. "In addition to his technical expertise and extensive experience with Heidelberg's products, Jim brings strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to the position. He has the ability to develop unique technical solutions not covered by standard operation procedures. His addition boosts our technical support program to a new level." Jim has more than 20 years' in-depth technical experience in the computer industry. Before joining Lucid Dream, he was a technical support specialist at Heidelberg USA, where his responsibilities included phone and onsite support of Jetbase on both the UNIX and Windows NT platforms, LAN network performance and troubleshooting, storage area network (SAN) implementation and integration, and creating backup schemes. His responsibilities also included monitoring the backups, database troubleshooting and training and assisting the field service technicians. In addition, he served as a telecommunications specialist, LAN/WAN engineer and system administrator prior to joining the company's technical support staff.
