LINCOLN, Mass., Aug. 21 - PreVision Marketing, a leading strategic customer marketing and technology firm, announced today that it has been selected to develop and implement new branding and targeted customer communication programs for Transmedia Network Inc. the nation's leading dining rewards provider. The program, now branded under the name iDine, has been in existence for over 15 years and currently hosts 7 million customers. Through the iDine programs, customers receive automatic rebates (up to 20%) or airline miles when dining at participating restaurants.iDine also provides rewards for travel, hotel and retail savings. PreVision will utilize its integrated strategic, analytic and creative resources to create a fresh brand image for iDine that is more representative of its current customer base and the varied consumer motivations and aspirations surrounding "dining out.'' PreVision's first order of business will be to dive into iDine's existing customer database of dining enthusiasts and restaurant owners to identify specific customer segments which will drive some of the initial brand messaging, activation and acquisition initiatives. Several top direct marketing agencies vied for the iDine business, but PreVision was selected due to its strategic and analytic strength and creative innovation which have lead to the company's record of success in developing breakthrough programs that produce bottom line results for clients.
