Barry Hibbert Takes CEO Position at Polestar, httprint Names Replacement

Press release from the issuing company

EUROPE, July 26, 2001 - Rob North has been appointed European Managing Director of httprint. Formerly European Sales Director for the company, he takes up his new position with effect from Monday 30th July, following the departure of Barry Hibbert. President and CEO Mark Porter says: "Rob has played a pivotal role in the company's success to date. He takes on his new role at an exciting time, as the company enjoys significant traction, major growth and a focused solution that is increasingly attractive to a range of larger, corporate institutions and companies. As managing director, Rob will contribute further to our development and growth across Europe, and I look forward to working more closely with him. "Our thanks and best wishes go to Barry, who has returned to Polestar, having set up and established our European operation from scratch, building it into the $32 million business that it is today. I look forward to continuing the excellent relationship between our respective companies." httprint has recently refocused its business activities to concentrate on its core modules of branding, customisation and integration of bespoke eCommerce solutions and print management. Recent developments at the company have seen the roll-out of offices in mainland Europe, with the first opening in Germany in May and a second to follow next month. httprint has also launched its colour management module in association with KBA 74 Karat press. Rob North has over 18 years experience in direct marketing and printing, following a career at some of the leading names in the industry, including Polestar, RR Donnelley and Royal Mail.
